About Arun

before (difficult situation)

Arun's father died when he got sick and fell down in an accident. Sadly, Arun's mother also passed away because of a chest illness. He has two other brothers. One of his brothers lives with relatives and the other is looking for support. Arun's family has a small plot of land but it does not provide enough income for them to survive. After his parents' death, Arun started to stay with his relatives where he was not well cared for. Sometimes he would sleep in public places and in the street. Somebody from the village informed us and we realized that he desperately needed help. We picked him up for the orphanage with a reference letter of the Village Development Committee (VDC).
